The refurbishment project, scheduled for completion at the end of May 2024, sees the renovation of 108 suites, following an upgrade of the public areas and 20 suites in 2019.

NEWCASTLE, UK  – Newcastle‘s hospitality landscape is set to enjoy a transformation, as Cycas Hospitality‘s Staybridge Suites Newcastle, one of the city’s first serviced apartments, shares a first look at the £1.8m refurbishment project currently underway.

Situated in the city’s Quayside area, Staybridge Suites Newcastle has been providing guests with a comfortable and welcoming stay in the city since first opening in 2009.

With build partners Abrahams & Carlisle and project management / design services from ADS Design & Brand Development Ltd, this significant upgrade reaffirms the apartments’ commitment to outstanding guest experience, offering guests a completely modernised and enhanced stay. As part of the hotel’s pledge to sustainability and landfill reduction, Staybridge Suites Newcastle has also incorporated eco-friendly features throughout the ongoing project, with a significant proportion of the original furniture re-purposed locally.
