The U232 Hotel promotes the best art in Barcelona

The Barcelona’s hotel has created the Art Weekend Pack that, apart from an exclusive stay,
includes the ticket to seven of the most recognized and admired cultural centres in the city.

BARCELONA –  Art lovers will no longer have an excuse not to escape to enjoy a full weekend in
Barcelona to revel with some of the most internationally renowned museums and cultural centres. The U232 Hotel, from Nuñez & Navarro hotel’s collection in Barcelona, has created the Art Weekend Pack, which will allow guests to spend unforgettable days together with permanent and temporary collections which are housed in the city, while enjoying the facilities and services offered by this hotel with lots of personality.

Art Weekend Package includes the ticket to seven of the most recognized and admired cultural centres in Barcelona. Painting, sculpture, architecture, photography… from the Romanesque to the most innovative art, through the modernism of Gaudi. This exclusive pack dedicated to art lovers, is
complemented by a two-night stay at U232 Hotel, with a welcome drink at the U232 bar and a full breakfast buffet.

A few meters away from Las Ramblas, Art Weekend route takes visitors to the Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona (MACBA), where a part from the extensive collection of works from the second half of the twentieth century, an exhibition dedicated to industrial design congress held in Ibiza in 1971 can be visited until January 2013. Right next to the museum, the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB) hosts regular exhibitions of artwork: photographs,
paintings, sculptures and frescoes from around the world and from different periods.

In the Museu d’Art Nacional de Catalunya (MNAC) visitors can enjoy amazing works of Catalan Romanesque, among other styles. Not far from there, the Fundación Joan Miró is the benchmark space of this singular artist, in addition to host the latest trends in contemporary art.

La Pedrera is another essential stop included in the Art Weekend. This modernist building of Gaudí won’t leave anyone indifferent. The pack created by the U232 Hotel concludes with two other proper names: Fundación Antoni Tàpies and the Museo Picasso, both dedicated to the life and work of these renowned Spanish artists.
