Brazil, Morocco, Egypt and Oman are just some of the holiday destinations tipped to be big in 2005 according to a new report out today from Thomson.



The report looks at new destinations, developing resorts, major film launches, exchange rates and travel fashions which will influence where people travel in 2005.



Thomson’s top 10 destinations tipped for success next year are:

  3. Morocco
  4. Croatia
  5. Thailand
  6. Sardinia
  7. Oman
  8. Bratislava
  9. Serbia
  10. Paris


The report puts Brazil at the top of destinations to watch. Direct charter flights to Brazil will be launched for the first time in Thomson’s winter 2005/06 brochure, which goes on sale in January. The resort of Natal, in the North East of Brazil, is new to the British market and is only an eight and a half hour flight away, which is less than some Caribbean destinations.
