Hotels that do not have their own app, but wish to offer some of the functionality of a customized solution, can leverage the capabilities of third party Certified Partner solutions.
Operating with secure Seos technology, ASSA ABLOY Hospitality Mobile Access delivers unmatched security by working with a hotel's property-management system (PMS) to assign a guestroom and generate an encrypted digital key that is securely delivered to a guest's smartphone. The smartphone places the key in a secure digital key vault within the mobile app. When presented to the appropriate lock, the app then transmits the encrypted key over a secure-communication channel using the device's integrated Bluetooth. This protocol ensures that only authorized users are able to receive digital key information and gain access to the guestroom.
