New courtyard rendering released for Sir Richard Branson’s luxury Son Bunyola Hotel, which will open for the full Summer 2023 season.

Virgin Limited Edition, Sir Richard Branson’s collection of award-winning luxury hotels and retreats, announce that its brand-new Son Bunyola Hotel will start welcoming guests from June 16th 2023 – earlier than its original planned date of August, allowing guests to enjoy the property for the full summer season. Bookings are currently open for the 26-bedroom property, set in the prestigious Tramuntana region of Mallorca, where the development includes the restoration of a historic Finca building dating back to the 1500’s. For future guests looking for a sneak peak of the luxury hotel, a brand-new rendering of the courtyard is now available ahead of its imminent opening.

The Son Bunyola Hotel joins three stand-alone luxury villas on the stunning 1000-acre Son Bunyola estate – part of the Virgin Limited Edition portfolio. The estate is positioned on a UNESCO World Heritage site, where the new hotel forms an integral part of the spectacular estate, surrounded by almond and olive trees, vines and citrus fruit trees. The 16th century Finca has been meticulously restored during the development, proudly retaining all original features to seamlessly blend new design with historical elements to celebrate and showcase the rich history of the building.

The hotel will encompass the main Finca and the Tafona, along with several annexe buildings, to house 26 luxury rooms and suites in total. The Tafona – where the historic olive press was previously located – is home to two stunning showcase suites with terraces. The hotel also boasts two unique Tower Suites with panoramic mountain and sea views – one of which was once a Medieval defence tower dating back to the 13th century. There will be two restaurants at the hotel – a Mediterranean restaurant and a tapas restaurant, several outdoor dining terraces, a luxury spa, and a swimming pool with sweeping views across the famous Foradada and surrounding countryside.
