California Lodging Investment Conference [CLIC] releases 2024 schedule

COSTA MESA, CALI. – Officials of the California Lodging Investment Conference [CLIC], the only hospitality conference focused on the California hotel market, released the agenda for the upcoming, seventh annual gathering.  The conference will take place March 6-7, 2024, at the Westin South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, Calif.

“The hospitality sector remains one of the hottest real estate markets in California, and savvy investors need to stay on top of trends and developments to be successful,” said Craig Sullivan, founder and president, [CLIC].  “CLIC was created with this in mind, and as we do every year, we have worked tirelessly to bring attendees fresh and invigorating content.  We will be creating more time and space for attendees to network and to discuss issues that are impacting our industry.”

Following the annual networking mixer and 2024 Hotel of the Year award presentation on March 6, conference goers can attend a full slate of panels and presentations by some of the industry’s most prominent players, including Lodging Econometrics Senior Vice President and Director of Global Business Development Bruce Ford, who will begin the day with an annual hotel state of the market report.

Glenn Haussman, president, No Vacancy News/Rouse Media, then moderates a panel on hotel labor, economy & inflation featuring Jackie Collins, Sr., director/senior vice president of real estate and hospitality, Gallagher & Co.; Justin Myers, vice president, Atlas Hospitality Group; Ronald Kim, COO, Prospera Hotels; Harry Wheeler, principal, Group One, a JCJ Architecture Studio; and Mark Le Blanc, Sr., advisor, Rebel Hotel Company.

Following a networking lunch, Jason Riederer, Vice President (title), AHLA, will speak on the California policy update.

Thereafter, Emmy Hise, Sr. Director (title), CoStar Group, will moderate the Hotel PIPs, Construction & Tech panel.  Panelists include Nikki Fox, vice president, GLR, Inc. General Contractors; Jessica Janis, director of hospitality, sports & entertainment, Corning Optical; Jenny Redlin, founding principal, Partner Engineering and Science, Inc.; Chris Tychsen, CRPC, principal/executive vice president – investments & capital markets, Green Innvestor/Hotel Innvestor; and Henry Wong, principal, AO.

The day’s sessions conclude with Hotel Revenue Enhancement & Strategies moderated by Kate Burda, Founder (title), Kate Burda & Company. W. Chris Green, president, Remington Hospitality; Cesar Wurm, vice president, IHG; Mark Crisci, president, Azul Hospitality; and Pat Mitchell, president, Hogan Hospitality Group, will serve as panelists.
