The inaugural sustainability conference will take place in London on 23 April.
LONDON – SCALE, a series of events catering to short-term rental property managers, has announced the first edition of SCALE Green, which will take place in London on 23 April 2024. The conference will be a world-first, solely dedicated to spotlighting and enhancing sustainability efforts in short-term rentals.
The event is in collaboration with four leading sustainability experts in the holiday let sector: Bob Garner, CEO at EnviroRental, Vanessa De Souza Lage, CEO at Sustonica, Marc Ribail, Founder and CEO of QALIA and Nikki Mattei, a sustainability specialist. Lead sponsors for the event include Sykes Holiday Cottages, Avantio and Smily.
Up to 100 property managers are expected to attend the half-day event. They will help to build a “Climate Action Plan” with nine educational sessions designed to showcase actionable steps that professional managers, owners and hosts can easily implement.
Speaking alongside the four sustainability experts will be Graham Donoghue, CEO of Sykes Cottages, Rachel Parsons, Sustainability & Leadership Coach at The What If Department, Ufi Ibrahim, CEO at Energy & Environmental Alliance and Katy Davies, Head of ESG at Host and Stay.
