Lufthansa Group and Navan bring innovative BusinessToGo travel solution to the United Kingdom and France

All-in-one online travel platform, branded “BusinessToGo,” to meet corporate travel demand from small- and medium-sized enterprise (SME) businesses in the UK and France.

Lufthansa Group Airlines and Navan announced the expansion of BusinessToGo to the UK. The comprehensive travel platform gives companies the ability to book flights, hotels, cars, and trains within a single travel management tool. This all-in-one solution gives corporate customers an effective tool to make travel and expense easier. At the same time, BusinessToGo will also be enrolled in France.

The integrated online travel platform can be accessed via web and mobile device, and automatically applies company travel policies. By factoring in company policy, personal preferences, and optimal pricing, the BusinessToGo platform dynamically displays the most relevant booking options to customers.

Lufthansa Group’s popular loyalty program, PartnerPlusBenefit, is also integrated into BusinessToGo, which allows users to earn points when booking Lufthansa flights. Meanwhile, PartnerPlusBenefit members can also use their points to book their redemption flights on the platform.

“Having gathered broad experience with BusinessToGo in our home markets since 2022, we together launch today this innovative and digital platform in Great Britain, a very important corporate travel market,” says Heinrich Lange, Senior Director Sales Northern Europe Lufthansa Group. “We designed this smart new platform together with Navan in order to address travel demand from companies, who want to efficiently self-manage their travel demand.”

Customers can choose between two BusinessToGo pricing packages, depending on their needs: an Essentials and a Premium package. With both options, corporate clients can book Lufthansa Group and joint venture partner flights as well as flights from other airlines. This includes NDC and competitive pricing, as well as a broad range of hotel, train, and car rental content provided by Navan.

The Essentials package is designed for companies with up to 100 travellers and does not include booking fees. Offering smaller businesses, a holistic travel management platform with enhanced policy and profile management, CO2 emissions reporting, 24/7 support, centralised billing, dedicated support and onboarding, and access to cheaper hotel rates.

For companies with more than 100 travellers, the Premium package integrates the Navan travel management platform with internal systems, such as HR or ERP systems. The package includes a 5 GBP fee per booking. With the Premium package, corporate customers are offered enhanced onboarding and additional support with platform configuration. Travellers also receive unlimited use of Navan’s generative AI and travel agent support.
