  • Michelle Reda has been named Chief Casino Marketing Officer of Fontainebleau Las Vegas.
  • Kimberly Virtuoso has been elevated to Senior Vice President of People.

Celebrated gaming and hospitality executives will join the talented team ahead of the resort’s global debut in December 2023.

LAS VEGAS – Fontainebleau Las Vegas, the globally anticipated luxury resort set to open in December 2023 on the Las Vegas Strip, is announcing several new leadership appointments. These new hires will complement an expanding group of seasoned and celebrated executives who will guide the resort toward a successful grand opening and beyond. Fontainebleau Las Vegas is a joint development by Koch Real Estate Investments, the real estate investment arm of Koch Industries, and Fontainebleau Development, a premier hospitality and real estate group founded by Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jeffrey Soffer and led in partnership with President Brett Mufson.

“Our executives have all proven to be extraordinary leaders throughout their careers,” says Mr. Mufson. “Their passion, appreciation for excellence, and entrepreneurial spirit make each one of them a natural fit to complement the leadership team we have built to date. As stewards of our brand, its culture and heritage, we are thrilled to welcome them to Fontainebleau, as we look to establish ourselves as the pinnacle of luxury hospitality to a new generation of guests.”

Mark Tricano has been named President of the resort, bringing nearly 20 years of success in the gaming, hospitality, and finance sectors to Fontainebleau Las Vegas. Mr. Tricano assumes the role provisionally held by Mr. Mufson.

Mr. Tricano’s career has spanned industry-leading companies domestically and internationally, including Hong Kong-based Galaxy Entertainment Group, Caesars Entertainment, Station Casinos, and JACK Entertainment. Most recently in Macau, Mr. Tricano served as Senior Vice President of Gaming Development and Optimization Services, Labor Planning, and Hotel Revenue Management for Hong Kong-based Galaxy Entertainment Group – a role in which he, among other responsibilities, oversaw operations and labor strategy for more than $7.5B in annual gross gaming revenue, 13,000+ team members and revenue management for 4,000 hotel rooms. In Las Vegas, Mr. Tricano led Station Casinos’ award-winning luxury Las Vegas destination Red Rock Resort, Casino, and Spa as Vice President & General Manager. He has also served in executive leadership and finance roles for Caesars Entertainment, including Vice President and Assistant General Manager and Director of Finance in multiple jurisdictions domestically.

“It is a tremendous honor to take on the responsibility of leading the Las Vegas team toward a defining moment in Las Vegas history,” says Mr. Tricano. “Fontainebleau Development’s leadership has conceived this resort with a unique, independent vision that sets it apart from everything there is, and anything there has ever been on the Strip. I am grateful for the trust that has been placed in me, and the recognition of my decades-long love and commitment to the Las Vegas hospitality industry. I look forward to guiding the Fontainebleau Las Vegas team through these final months of construction, our grand opening, and beyond.”

In addition to Mr. Tricano’s appointment, Michelle Reda, a 25-year veteran of luxury hospitality and casino marketing for Las Vegas resorts, has been named Chief Casino Marketing Officer of Fontainebleau Las Vegas.

Ms. Reda’s track record of success in the gaming industry includes 13 years serving in multiple roles at Wynn Resorts – including Vice President of Casino Marketing. She served on the opening team of Encore Las Vegas in 2008, developing the company’s Domestic Independent Agent Program while overseeing its Domestic branch office. Prior to joining Wynn Resorts, Ms. Reda spent seven years with Caesars Entertainment as Director of National Casino Marketing; and she was also Corporate Senior Vice President of Casino Marketing for Las Vegas-based Station Casinos.

Kimberly Virtuoso, who joined Fontainebleau Las Vegas in 2022 as Vice President of People, has been elevated to Senior Vice President of People. Mrs. Virtuoso is overseeing the resort’s human resources strategy and recently launched the online recruitment portal that will lead to the hiring of thousands of future Fontainebleau Las Vegas employees – known as MEMBERS. Mrs. Virtuoso is a certified HR leader who previously served as Executive Director of Corporate Human Resources for MGM Resorts International. She is also an instructor in the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Continuing Education department.

Subject to required regulatory approvals, Fontainebleau Las Vegas is set to open in December of 2023. With a prime location on 25 acres adjacent to the Las Vegas Convention Center District on the northern end of the iconic Strip, the resort will offer guests and convention attendees unparalleled convenience and access to the resort’s luxury business, entertainment, and hospitality offerings.
