NEEDHAM, MASS. – TripAdvisor, the travel planning and booking site, announced the winners of its first ever Travelers' Choice awards for Rentals. The inaugural awards recognize 30 of the top rental homes in the world, ranging from a chic Parisian apartment and a serene Balinese villa, to an unforgettable houseboat in Amsterdam, a cozy studio nestled in Yosemite National Park, and a luxury home set amidst an island vineyard.
With features like private pools, lakefront views, and mountain access, these award-winning properties highlight everything travelers love about TripAdvisor Rentals' unique collection of rental homes around the world.

This gleaming modern apartment in the heart of Manchester won the affordable category, which features homes starting from under $50 per person per night. The mid-range category winner, a design-led Paris apartment walking distance to the Eiffel tower, was described by one guest as "…welcoming, spacious, colorful, beautifully equipped, and in a fabulously convenient location". Villa La Ruga, a beautiful home perched on the edge of Lake Como, took the top spot in the high-end category.

To celebrate the launch of the awards, TripAdvisor Rentals is giving away a bucket list experience to one lucky winner + guest to stay in one of the award-winning homes in Bali, which was named the world's best destination this year in the Travelers' Choice awards for Destinations. TripAdvisor's Travelers' Choice selections are announced annually in categories including destinations, beaches, flights and hotels, but this is the first ever iteration for rentals.
The awards were open globally, and winners were located in the following countries: Australia, Canada, Costa Rica, France, Greece, Italy, India, Indonesia, the Netherlands, Spain, Sri Lanka, the United Kingdom and the United States.
