Minister of Tourism Dr. Mamdouh El-Beltagui arrives today in Italy, leading a tourist delegation representing the public and private sectors to take part in the 24th round of Milano Travel Bourse.
During the visit, Beltagui will inaugurate the Egyptian pavilion in the bourse as well as holding meetings between the Egyptian and foreign travel agents.
Beltagui will also hold a press conference to touch on latest developments in the Egyptian tourism field.
The tourism minister told Al-Akhbar daily that the Milano Travel Bourse is one of the leading tourist fairs in the whole world where the senior tourist agents meet.
He added that Egypt is keen on participating in the vent as Italy ranks second on the list of the tourism-exporting countries to Egypt, noting that all contracts of the current tourist season are reached in the meetings between the Egyptian and foreign tourist agents in the Milano travel Bourse.
