Air Senegal extended GSSA contact with APG in Ghana, Moroxxo and Nigeria

This new national brand carrier, Air Senegal is at the core of the PSE (Plan for an Emerging Senegal) which aims at building a true regional air hub around Blaise Diagne International Airport.

National airline Air Senegal extended General Representative (GSA) agreement with APG, a leading network for airline services, in Ghana, Morocco & Nigeria.

“Air Senegal is certainly a very young airline but our national airline has a great ambition and a clear vision. We are in a fast track perspective and are growing day by day, expanding not only our fleet, but also the number of destinations. This expansion confirms Air Senegal's position as one of the leading airlines in West Africa” says Assane Sambe, Commercial & Marketing Director, Air Senegal.

This new national brand carrier, Air Senegal is at the core of the PSE (Plan for an Emerging Senegal) which aims at building a true regional air hub around Blaise Diagne International Airport. The Air Senegal network currently includes Paris-CDG (daily flights) as well as Abidjan, Bamako, Banjul, Bissau, Conakry, Cotonou, Niamey, Ouagadougou, Praia, Sal and Ziguinchor.

In addition to its first two Airbus A330-900s ordered (32 + 21 + 237), its fleet includes two A319s and two 72-600s. The airline is waiting for the delivery of its second new A330neo and one B737, which will also allow it to launch by the end of this year new routes (Abuja, Accra, Barcelone, Casablanca, Lagos, Marseille & Nouakchott). As part of its international expansion, the airline plans in 2020 to open new routes to Washington, New-York, Geneva and London.
