NEW YORK – AirFastTickets.com, the newly launched online travel-booking service known for generating the lowest-priced fares, announced its plans to accept bitcoins, the decentralized digital currency that allows for peer-to-peer anonymous payments. The travel-booking agency is the first in both the U.S. and Europe to accept bitcoins.
Launched in 2009, Bitcoin has received attention for its list of notable companies offering consumers the payment option of using the new digital currency. The products and services range from Virgin Galactic to online dating site, OkCupid, and Overstock.com.
