APG is pleased to announce a new GSA partnership with Wamos Air effective from the 22nd June 2015.
APG has been appointed as the General Sales Agent of Wamos Air in Italy, Russia and will be providing full sales and marketing services as well as call centre facilities.
Wamos Air (formerly Pullmantur Air) is a company, based in Madrid, belonging to the Group Wamos founded in 2003, to strengthen the Group’s expansion in the cruise market in Spain, where it currently leads with 40% market share.
Their aircraft are serving Pullmantur cruises operating in the Mediterranean Sea, Caribbean, Baltic and Adriatic boarding flying cities such as Venice, Athens, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Istanbul, Aruba or Isla Margarita, and vacation destinations in the Caribbean, Punta Cana in Dominican Republic and Cancun in Mexico, or other special seasonal destinations such as New York in the United States or Phuket in Thailand.
As regular airline Wamos Air operates since 2011 flight frequencies between one and four per week, depending on the winter or summer season, between Madrid and Cancun (Mexico) and between Madrid and Punta Cana (Dominican Republic).
The fleet operating Wamos Air is composed of four Boeing 747-400, commonly nicknamed “Jumbo”. Which have a total capacity of 2,000 seats per day and placed the company as the third largest airline in Spain long haul.
