Arabian Adventures signs agreement with Travel Professional Group in Ukraine

Under the agreement, TPG – a leading tour operator in Ukraine – will have Arabian Adventures as its partner in the UAE, providing DMC services to its clients including hotel reservations, transfers, in-resort assistance as well as tours and excursions in Russian.

DUBAI, UAE – Arabian Adventures, the Middle East’s leading Destination Management Company (DMC) and part of the Emirates Group, has signed an agreement with Travel Professional Group (TPG) based in Kiev, Ukraine.

Under the agreement, TPG – a leading tour operator in Ukraine – will have Arabian Adventures as its partner in the UAE, providing DMC services to its clients including hotel reservations, transfers, in-resort assistance as well as tours and excursions in Russian.

“Arabian Adventures sees strong potential in Ukraine’s leisure travel market. We will work closely with TPG in promoting Dubai, and the UAE, as a destination of choice among Ukrainian travellers. To meet the increased demand and requirements from this market, we are enhancing our offerings in Russian, adding tours and increasing frequencies,” said Peter Payet, Senior Vice President, Arabian Adventures.

“I look forward to working with Arabian Adventures. My team and I are very happy to hear about Emirates’ daily flights to Kiev and are positive about the tremendous benefit this brings to both our countries. TPG assures its full support to make the route a great success – as we promote travel between Kiev and Dubai,” said Elena Getmantseva, General Director, TPG.

Emirates recently announced its services to Kiev which commences on 16th January 2014, and will provide convenient global connections via Dubai to Ukraine’s population of 45 million, as well as support the country’s key exports.

“With the announcement of daily flights to Kiev, Ukrainian travellers will be able to fly non-stop to our Dubai hub and conveniently connect to other destinations in the Indian Ocean Islands and Asia. This will surely help our businesses grow further,” added Mr Payet.

Statistics from Dubai’s Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing (DTCM) show that last year Dubai welcomed 70,471 visitors from Ukraine. In the first quarter of this year (January to March 2013), there was a 24.6 per cent increase in visitor numbers from Ukraine to Dubai.
