The World Trade Organization`s (WTO) Sixth Ministerial Conference will be held in Hong Kong from December 13 to 18.
According to the Hong Kong Ministerial Conference Coordination Office, International Conference Consultants Limited and PC Tours and Travel (joint bidder) had won the bid to provide services for the conference participants. There were five bids submitted and criteria such as relevant experience and expertise in performing the role as hotel agent in previous events of similar scale, bidders` capability and company resources/technical support were considered.
The official hotel agent will provide services in relation to hotel accommodation for the delegates such as handling enquiries and bookings.
Around 11,000 participants are expected to attend the Conference, including 6,000 delegates from over 170 WTO Members and Observers, 3,000 press and 2,000 representatives of non-governmental organizations.
