Multiple travel industry events are taking place in and around ITB Asia, this week and next. ITB Asia is the primary B2B trade show for the Asia Pacific travel industry.
Generalists and specialists in the travel industry will be spoiled for choice. Within ITB Asia, 20-22 October, which is expected to attract over 6,000 attendees, Web In Travel will be a specialist forum for online travel, marketing, technology and social media enthusiasts. Association Day will embrace best practice from the world of association events. The Luxury Meeting Forum on 21 October will analyse the latest trends at the top-end of the travel industry. The Responsible Tourism Forum 21 October will advance green and sustainable issues.
Egypt will host Egypt Night for invited ITB Asia attendees on 20 October.
In a similar vein, the World Savers Congress on 20 October, also in Suntec, will be a conversation about the power of the travel industry to effect positive change. It will celebrate travel industry innovators who make a difference.
The abundance of travel events comes in the middle of Singapore Tourism Board’s TravelRave which features six top level events from October 18 to 28.
“The synergies between these travel events are huge,” said Dr Martin Buck, Vice President, Messe Berlin. “The rich and diversified content that ITB Asia now offers adds immense value for attendees. If you’re in the travel industry in Asia, Singapore is the place to be this week and next.”
TravelRave also includes the Asia Travel Leaders Summit (18-19 October),
Aviation Outlook Asia (20-22 October) and the Singapore Experience Awards on 28 October.
