Survey of travel journalists from across the globe reveals the top 100 sunset-viewing spots worldwide, as well as honourable mentions for 400 further locations. Santorini, Greece, was the most nominated place to view a sunset worldwide, followed by Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona, USA, and Mykonos, Greece.
BERLIN, GERMANY – Eyewear specialists Lensbest have released a study that for the first time uses a data-driven approach to collate and determine the best spots around the world to watch a sunset. As the best sunset-viewing experience is often a subjective one, the company decided to ask those who had the most knowledge gained by visiting numerous spectacular locations around the world: travel journalists. The result is a comprehensive list of the top 100 places across the globe to view a sunset according to international consensus, as well as a further list of 400 honourable mentions.
