BWHR takes major step in expanding its world-class Sales and Development team

New hires and promotions expand reach and strengthen North American development.

 

PHOENIX, ARIZONA – Best Western Hotels & Resorts (BWHR) announced the expansion of its North American Development (NAD) team with key new hires and promotions. Jesse Heydorff and Mike Wasserson join the BWHR team as Regional Directors; additionally, Brandon Moore and Sean Tan have been promoted to Managing Directors. These strategic hires and promotions further solidify BWHR as an industry leader in sales and development.

These announcements come at a time of incredible excitement for BWHR. BWHR’s legacy brands continue to experience growth and increasing popularity, and its new boutique brands are gaining traction amongst developers and travelers. Finally, the Best Western Premier® brand recently achieved the esteemed industry recognition of being named #1 by J.D. Power in guest satisfaction among upscale hotel brands.

Jesse Heydorff, Four Corners Regional Director
An outstanding top-performer with a tremendous sales record in the industry, Jesse Heydorff joins BWHR as Regional Director of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah. Heydorff has cultivated solid relationships across his territory and is already well-versed in BWHR’s needs and market demands for the growing boutique segment. Heydorff’s strong skill set and impressive background will bring great value to the NAD team.

Mike Wasserson, Pacific Regional Director
Mike Wasserson rejoins BWHR as Regional Director of California and Nevada. Well-respected in the industry, Wasserson is a young professional that has made tremendous strides in his career. Wasserson’s vast experience across both new construction and conversion opportunities, coupled with his broad knowledge of BWHR and the drivers behind BWHR’s new boutique brands, make him an ideal addition to the NAD team.

Brandon Moore, Managing Director
Hospitality industry veteran, Brandon Moore, has been promoted from Regional Director to Managing Director. Moore is well-respected among franchisees, hotel owners and development influencers across the United States. His commitment to excellence and passion for the industry delivers continued success to BWHR and the NAD team. In his new role, Moore will oversee the NAD Regional Directors, driving forward BHWR’s development goals in the Central and Southeast regions.

Sean Tan, Managing Director
Sean Tan has been promoted from Regional Director to Managing Director. A true industry professional, Tan’s deep experience in the industry and knowledge of BWHR have delivered consistent success within the organization. In his new role, Tan will oversee the NAD Regional Directors in the Western U.S., driving forward BHWR’s development goals in his region.
