CIE Tours appoints Jeannie Bean business development manager of the Northwest region

Business Development Managers Bonnie Garrett and Dan Dorn to support.

MORRISTOWN, N.J. – Jeannie Bean – a seasoned professional with more than a decade of experience in the business and sales industry – has been tapped to serve as the new business development manager of the Northwest region for CIE Tours International. She will oversee Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming, Montana and Idaho.

“Jeannie’s proven success in the travel industry will make her a strong asset to our team,” said Carol Doherty, vice president, global sales CIE Tours. “She understands our business, and we know her expertise will both drive growth for CIE Tours and be a benefit to our guests and travel agent partners.”

Most recently, Bean served as business development manager of the Northwest for Florida-based Playa Resorts and Hotels. Prior, she held the same role for New York City’s Travel Bound, where she increased West Coast travel sales by 20 percent in her first year.

Bean honed her abilities as a regional sales manager at Brendan Worldwide Vacations and Runaway Tours, both in California, where she is based. For 10 years, she advanced her skills in sales by designing, developing and implementing marketing strategy plans.

With Bean’s appointment comes a refreshed focus for members of CIE Tours’ ace sales team. Business Development Manager Bonnie Garrett continues to support Hawaii, and California, now focused on the Southern California region. She’s also added Colorado, Nevada, Utah and Alaska to her roster. Business Development Manager Dan Dorn continues to support Arkansas, Arizona, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.
