Air France began Tuesday another daily flight between Beijing and Paris to cope with the increasing demand, local newspaper Beijing Daily said on Friday.
The flight No. AF125, a Boeing B777, takes off from Beijing International Airport at 13:15 p.m. (Beijing Time) every day and lands at Charles de Gaulle Airport at 15:40 p.m. local time, the report said, quoting sources from the airlines` representative office in Beijing.
With the rapid growth of cultural and economic exchanges between China and France, a daily flight from Beijing to Paris cannot meet the growing demand. This additional flight brings the airlines` total number of flights to China to 42 a week
Currently, Air France operates weekly 14 flights between Beijing and Paris, 11 flights between Shanghai and Paris, 10 flights between Guangzhou and Paris and seven flights between Hong Kong and Paris.
