Aircalin, a carrier based in the South Pacific Island of New Caledonia, is Discover the World Marketing`s latest client. On February 1, the airline started representation in Europe for the first time through Discover`s office in France.
Since most of Aircalin`s passengers are French and travel primarily on Air France to make connections to its on-line services in such countries as Japan and Australia, it made good business sense to handle the European sales and marketing efforts through Discover`s office in France, said Derek Shanks, president of Discover the World Marketing.
According to Aircalin`s Marketing and Alliances Manager Michel Regi, We were looking for a different solution to expand our brand awareness and increase our revenues. The challenge we faced led us to Discover the World Marketing, which is the right fit for us. The timing is also perfect since we operate Osaka-Noumea (New Caledonia) twice a week and we will start to operate Toyko-Noumea five times a week from March 30.
