British Airways is introducing two new Eastern European routes from Gatwick . The airline will operate flights from Gatwick to the popular cities of Bucharest and Sofia from summer 2005.
Services to Bucharest, Romania, will operate three times a week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from May 2005, with fares starting from just £146 return.
Services to the Bulgarian capital Sofia will depart on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from June 2005, with fares from £146 return.
Barbara Thwaites, British Airways’ senior business development manager Gatwick, said: “Bucharest and Sofia are two popular Eastern European destinations which we are confident will attract both business and leisure travellers.
“Next summer we will continue to be the largest airline at Gatwick with services to over eighty popular destinations, including five new European routes, at prices that are better than ever.”
