British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw on Saturday expressed his country`s confidence in Egypt`s ability to combat terrorism.
Over a phone conversation with Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul Gheit, Straw regretted the blasts that rocked the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh earlier in the day.
Straw said his country will not advise the British nationals against travelling to Egypt.
Abul Gheit noted that the fight against terror was the battle of the international community as a whole.
