Customers booking one-way British Airways flights from London City Airport to Barcelona, Chambery, Geneva, Venice and Zurich during November will be offered an extra piece of luggage for free when they fly between December and April.
British Airways has announced winter sports fans can take their skis for free when jetting out to five top snow destinations from London City Airport.
For those not travelling with skis, they can substitute them for a snowboard or even an extra piece of luggage to carry winter woollies.
This is in addition to the existing generous free 23kg luggage allowance and free hand baggage available on all British Airways flights. Customers at the docklands airport also benefit from a quick kerbside to airside journey of just 20 minutes, making the most of their leisure time, as well as free
on-line check-in and seat selection 24 hours before departure and complimentary food and drink on board.
Luke Hayhoe, general manager commercial for British Airways at London City said: “Once again we are offering a wide choice of different winter sport destinations from London City Airport and we wanted to give our customers a little extra by allowing them to take their sports equipment completely free of charge.“
British Airways offer ski holidays to over 30 of the globe’s best winter sports destinations including flights, car rental and resort accommodation.
For holidays in Barcelona, which is the gateway for the Andorra ski resorts, British Airways offers seven night fly-drive breaks as well as to Venice for the Dolomite region and Geneva and Chambery for the French Alps. Return flights from London City and Avis car rental for the duration is included.
