New service portal for trade-fair exhibitors

DusseldorfCongress extends its Internet site

With immediate effect, the Internet site of DusseldorfCongress Veranstaltungsgesellschaft provides a comprehensive information and services portal especially for trade-fair exhibitors. Companies and associations presenting themselves at or being involved in one of the 50 specialized trade fairs in Dusseldorf will find optimal facilities for complementing their trade-fair communication. Information on room facilities for seminars accompanying the fairs as well as on conventions and exhibitors’ events is available at a glance under the new heading ‘exhibitors’ service’ on the DusseldorfCongress site. In addition, exhibitors will find VIP offers tailored to their individual requirements and other services such as flat rates for conventions and participants management.

With one of the world’s biggest trade fair companies, an international convention centre and several event, concert and sports venues, Dusseldorf combines all branches of the event industry in one facilities and services pool offering multi-faceted additional benefits to exhibitors. Apart from the CCD Congress Center Dusseldorf on the very trade fair grounds, DusseldorfCongress also operates the PHILIPSHALLE, the ESPRIT arena and the ISS DOME, as well as the two special event locations museum kunst palast and Station Airport. Here exhibitors will find the suitable setting for presenting themselves in the best way outside the trade fair stand – in the context of a workshop accompanying the fair, with an exclusive after-show party or by inviting their top customers to their own VIP box at a rock concert. In addition, DusseldorfCongress provides exhibitors with professional support in the realization and implementation of their ideas, e.g. by taking charge of event management and the logistics concerning participants.

With the new service portal on its Internet site, the event organizer aims to point out the facilities and services available at the location to all exhibitors in Dusseldorf. Already the turnover proportion of events generated by trade fairs with DusseldorfCongress amounts to 20 to 40%, depending on the trade fair year. ‘With this concrete offer, we want to tie in even more with the trade-fair network and develop a basis for generating international events from the growing markets of China and India’ declares Hilmar Guckert, speaker of the management of DusseldorfCongress. ‘Many exhibitors are unaware of the tremendous benefits they can get through the tight cooperation between Messe Dusseldorf, the trade fair, and DusseldorfCongress. The new service portal on our Internet site now provides them with a comfortable and comprehensive overview of all advantages and possibilities.’
