The organization says it will pay up to 50% of the cost of brochures that promote winter tourism to Greece, or it will pay for pages within a winter package brochure that promote Greek destinations during the off season.
For special ad campaigns that promote winter packages by charter, the organization pays for 75% of the cost. If an operator promotes packages on part-charter on scheduled flights, the organization will pay 50% of the promotion cost.
EOT adds that the 75% ad subsidy is available to airlines with direct flights from outside Greece to Rodos or Crete (two destinations with special winter pilot programs), provided they promote the aforementioned Greek destinations.
Each subsidy must be pre-approved by the Hellenic Tourism Organization through the closest EOT office abroad.
