Iberia has launched a new corporate web site offering up-to-date information keeping with its commitment to transparency. The new web site, in Spanish and English-language versions, features the latest company news and performance figures, along with data about Iberia`s fleet of aircraft, the airline`s history, and curiosities, along with special pages of specific interest to investors, and the press. Well-organised and attractively designed, the new site is very easy to use.
The web site is available on the web directly, as www.grupo.iberia.es, and also as a part of www.iberia.com. Visitors must click on Grupo Iberia
[Iberia Group], on the Acerca de Iberia [About Iberia] tab. The site is divided into five sections:

About Iberia provides up-to-date information about the company`s business and services, its staff, economic magnitudes and performance figures, the key event of its 77-year-long history, the Iberia fleet then and now, awards earned in recent years, and the alliances to which Iberia now belongs.
The Investor Relations section contains information of great interest, such as Iberia`s stock market performance, the company`s strategy and objectives, and the latest documents submitted to Spain`s CNMV securities market commission.,
The Press Room is intended chiefly for journalists, but is accessible to everyone. It includes all company press releases of the past eight months, high-resolution photographs for downloading, a complete dossier about Iberia, television commercials and historic posters and print advertisements, which has also be downloaded, and curious facts about the airline and the industry in general, along with data to facilitate contacts with Iberia`s press department.
In the Jobs and Careers section visitors can find the latest job openings at Iberia, among other information.
Another section deals with Iberia`s Social Commitment, and supplies comprehensive information about how Iberia`s policies contribute to society
at large, and specifically to the the protection of the environment, and to the welfare of customers, shareholders, and employees.
Iberia commercial web site, had already included some of this information. But the new web site supplies much more information in a better designed and easier to use format. In addition, the Iberia Group site conforms to the guidelines of the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI), making it especially easy to use by people with one or another kind of handicap.
Accordingly, the navigation system is simplified, fold-out menus are not used, the images are described in accompanying texts, there is keyboard access to the main options, and information is presented in easy-to-read
summary form, etc.
