On the new Lufthansa Holidays travel portal, which went live today, customers can select scheduled flights operated by Lufthansa or any of the airline’s codeshare partners to more than 140 airports and combine them with any of the more than 8,000 hotels listed in 1,000 attractive holiday destinations. Lufthansa is cooperating on this new venture with German tour operator Thomas Cook Deutschland.

When it comes to putting together the packages, the best available rates for the flight and hotel accommodation are selected, along with any other add-on services. The final, all-inclusive price is then calculated – and no further charges are applicable. The result is a complete tour package.
