Greece`s national air carrier Olympic Airways<.> and the French carrier Air France<.> are apparently going to be slapped with a lawsuit from a British man who says he suffered a blood clot after flying with both carriers, according to an article which was published in Britain`s Daily Telegraph.

The British man was quoted by the Daily Telegraph as saying that the clot arose after he flew economy class from Paris to Athens and back, and then a couple of days later, from Paris to La Rochelle in western France. The 35-year-old attorney at law, Lars Lewis, is according to the article, going to sue the airlines for failing to warn him of the dangers of blood clots.

Following his flights, and according to the article, Lewis spent two weeks in a hospital being treated with blood-thinning agents after he was found to have a potentially fatal blood clot in his lungs.
