SN Brussels Airlines lowers its fares to 32 destinations for customers who book their ticket at least 2 months before the departure date. Price reductions up to 45 pct will be implemented. With this new pricing strategy, SN targets mainly the early bookers.
More and more tourism companies (hotel chains, touroperators, train operators) reward clients who book their hotel rooms or holiday well in advance with extra discounts. SN Brussels Airlines has decided to go along with this popular trend.
The largest Belgian airline launches a completely new pricing strategy which rewards early bookers. Condition is that the ticket is booked at least 2 months before the departure date of the flight. The advice is “The Sooner You Buy, The Cheaper You Fly”.
The new reduced fares will be available both for one way and return travel.
Structural modification
The new pricing structure is not a one-off commercial ‘stunt’ but rather a structural change which makes SN Brussels Airlines the most competitive airline on nearly all important routes, even for the most price sensitive customer. A fare comparison of similar full service airlines shows that SN is indeed extremely competitive.
SN was able to lower its fares thanks to its many cost efficiency measures: the abolition of paper tickets, the optimisation of the flight offer, lower costs for ground services, etc. Moreover SN is determined to perform massive price efforts in 2006 in order to fill the empty flight seats.
Reliability and service
The passengers of SN can check until 45 minutes before departure and thanks to the self check-in facilities in Brussels airport it is even possible to get your boarding card in less than 20 seconds.
Unlike some other airlines who start charging high excess baggage charges as of 16 kilogrammes of luggage, SN passengers can check in 20 kilogrammes of luggage on all flights.
SN passengers can travel to most of the destinations several times a day and moreover SN flies only to primary airports located close to the city which makes expensive and time-consuming transportations redundant.
