The new excursion website from leading travel company Thomson, thomsonexcursions.co.uk helps travellers to research and book activities across the globe. Open to everyone, whether they’ve booked a Thomson holiday or not, the website currently features some 631 excursions and experiences across 55 destinations. Activities range from swimming with dolphins and horse riding on the beach, to hot air balloon rides and a safari on the Masai Mara.

In Zakynthos, staff from the Turtle Protection League join our Turtle Island Cruise to ensure guests are informed about turtle conservation. In Kenya, our boat excursion ‘Swahili Blue’ to Wasini Island is run in conjunction with a local company with nearly 100 local employees. Proceeds go towards a community fund run by the ladies of the village. In addition, the restaurant on the island where many guests choose to eat operates a project which supplies some of the schooling needs of the children and the salaries for two teachers.
