Visit London has agreed a partnership with conference enquiry specialists Conference Care to bring additional resource to its growing volume of conference bookings . Conference Care has 10 years of industry experience and an impressive 75% conversion rate on conference sales leads.
The agreement will mean a more dedicated approach to conference requests for under 100 delegates; a market which accounts for over £1.5 million of business to the capital annually*. Visit London will focus on larger clients, generating more new and repeat business for London and growing the client database.
Conference Care will work closely with all Visit London partners, in particular those which cater for smaller bookings, ensuring that a high volume of Visit London conference leads are converted into business for the capital.
“As Visit London’s venue enquiry service has become more widely used, we have brought Conference Care’s expertise in to look after the smaller bookings,” commented Angela Nicholson, General Manager Client Services at Visit London. “Of equal importance, the arrangement will allow the Visit London team to devote more time to the larger, more complex enquiries, ensuring these clients bring their business to the capital.”

The new arrangement comes into effect from April 2005.
