Wizz Air would start flying between Warsaw and Grenoble. The new flights will be operated once a week initially starting on 25th November. Natasa Kazmer, Director of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs said: “Grenoble is well set to become a favorite leisure and business destination for the Poles. Not only this town is famous for its magnificent slopes but is also well known for its scientific and research centers. We expect the route to be popular amongst holidaymakers as well as people working abroad or visiting families and friends.
Wizz Air launched a promotion giving away 200 000 free seats for the winter period. It was a highly successful campaign and has attracted 42% more passengers than on an average week. This is a clear sign that after the uncertainties of the past few weeks, passengers have now regained their confidence and continue to look for affordable and reliable air travel.
