Both appointments enhance FCM’s commitment to deliver the best content, travel programmes and support for customers as they navigate the new travel landscape.
FCM, one of the world’s largest travel management companies, has announced two appointments to the European team. Andrew Boxall has moved to a newly created role as Executive General Manager of Supply & Revenue Management whilst Mick Heitzinger has moved from FCM’s parent company Flight Centre Travel Group to join FCM as European Head of Account Management.
In his newly created role, Andrew will work with travel suppliers to deliver peace of mind, unrivalled product and negotiated prices amid the changing world of distribution. Andrew will navigate new supply commercials in a post-pandemic world to ensure FCM can deliver the best travel supplier content and innovative technology solutions through FCM Platform and booking tools. He has worked within the Flight Centre Travel Group for 24 years most recently heading up operations in Europe, focusing on customer growth and retention.
Andrew Boxall, Executive General Manager of Supply & Revenue Management said: “My motivation is to drive the supply and content strategy for FCM customers and, as part of that, the travel purchasing power of Flight Centre Travel Group. I aim to provide FCM customers the very best experience: peace of mind, product and price, using my experience in managing large teams and running successful businesses.”
Mick will lead our experienced team of account managers across Europe as they continue to help travel programmes thrive and support our customers returning safely to travel. The team are also facilitating the adoption of FCM’s innovative new product releases including upgraded sustainability dashboards and the future FCM Platform release. Mick previously led Flight Centre Travel Group’s European supply team for 15 years and spearheaded the group’s excellent relations with travel supply partners.
