Equilibrium Events Cuba opens DMC operations to meet demand.
WASHINGTON, DC – Global DMC Partners now offers DMC support in Cuba through its current DMC Partner, Equilibrium Events. Although it plans to grow its business over time as Cuban infrastructure allows, Equilibrium Events Cuba now offers groups of 50 or less an array of DMC services including walking city tours of Havana, visits to the Vinales tobacco growing region, shows at the world-famous Tropicana Cabaret, beach activities, hotel negotiations and more.
Global DMC Partners and Equilibrium Events Cuba indicate that client demand for the new, emerging market urged both organizations to examine and eventually add Cuba to the Partnership. Catherine Chaulet, President of Global DMC Partners, says “We are so proud to offer Cuba to our clients. Apart from its remarkable history, music, and dance culture, its major appeal is that it is yet to be discovered by our U.S. clients. Everybody wants to see the ‘untouched’ Cuba before it becomes too ‘American-ized’ and modernized.”

Silverstone advises that meeting planners who are considering Cuba for their next program must keep in mind that Cuba is still considered an emerging destination and, while it is for the better, the island is undergoing constant changes. “Be open to new great experiences and people,” adds Silverstone.
