Holibob adds travel tech veteran Alejandro Gomez Losada to strategic leadership team

Gomez Losada will oversee the expansion and development of Holibob’s B2B partnerships as Head of Partner Management and Success.

LONDON, ENGLAND – Holibob, an innovative technology company solving the difficult challenge of collecting, curating, and distributing tours and attractions in a way that helps travellers easily find the ideal experiences for their trips, announced that it has appointed travel industry veteran Alejandro Gomez Losada its Head of Partner Management & Success.

The minute I met Alejandro, I knew his passion for innovation combined with deep travel experience would make him a great addition to the Holibob team,” said Craig Everett, Founder and CEO of Holibob. “Our partners and our growing team will all benefit greatly from Alejandro’s expertise, and I look forward to growing Holibob alongside him.”

Gomez Losada’s experience in the hospitality industry spans nearly two decades, including stints at leading global brands (Booking.com, Despegar) as well as innovative travel technology companies like TripStack and AirDNA, where he was VP of Global Sales and Head of Data Solutions respectively. At Holibob, he will be responsible for building out the sales and partner management functions, as well as developing the processes and capabilities that ensure partner success.

Hospitality and innovation have always been at the heart of my career, so I couldn’t be more excited to join a company that is laser focused on helping travel businesses succeed through the creation of breakthrough distribution models,” said Gomez Losada. “I look forward to working closely with our partners and my fellow Holibobers to deliver ‘what’s next’ for the tours and attractions industry.”

Gomez Losada is the latest in a string of industry-veterans joining Holibob, which last month added four former Viator/Tripadvisor Experiences executives when it acquired tours and attractions marketing platform TourismSolved and already has former Booking.com and dnata executive Nathan Adams on its team.

The company believes adding deep industry experience to the innovative, growth-minded team that has helped it grow revenues by 600% in the past 6 months will allow it to more quickly and effectively meet the needs of travel businesses as they look to maximize revenues coming out of two pandemic-driven down years.

Right now, the travel industry has a unique opportunity to rethink how it delivers content, context, and value in its customer experiences in order to take advantage of the extraordinary pent up demand that exists after two pandemic-stricken years,” added Everett. “With our pioneering spirit and deep industry understanding, we believe Holibob is the perfect partner to help travel brands, DMOs, and tour operators maximize this opportunity by delivering exceptional customer experiences that drive bookings.”
