Innfinity Software Systems plans to re-develop backend of innfinite online booking tool built on blockchain technology

Innfinity will provide NDC Level 3 airline direct connects a platform for making their content accessible through a blockchain.

SAN DIEGO – Innfinity Software Systems, a San Diego-based technology company providing managed travel and property management solutions, has unveiled plans to begin re-development of the back-end of the Innfinite online booking tool, built on the blockchain.

Blockchain technology will enable the Innfinite online booking tool, a corporate travel booking engine for flights, hotels and rental cars, to provide travel management companies and their corporate clients with richer air content and more flexible contracting options.

Innfinity will provide NDC Level 3 airline direct connects a platform for making their content accessible through a blockchain. Leveraging the emerging blockchain technology ensures Innfinity's travel suppliers, travel buyers and TMC partners have scalable, trusted and immutable records of each transaction.

Using the NDC specification to source content and the blockchain to provide a trusted record for all parties, the Innfinite online booking tool will expand to provide a faster and more flexible platform for suppliers to offer customer-specific bundles, comprised of paid seats, priority boarding, loyalty incentives and additional ancillary content.

Dave Berkus, managing partner of Wayfare Ventures LLC and Chairman of the Innfinity Board of Advisors stated, "As an active investor in hospitality and travel technology, for my funds I look to find new technologies that will 'change the world.'  Blockchain technology fits that bill like nothing since the spread of the Internet itself.  Even mobile tech has not been met with such enthusiasm from investors and operators in the travel industry."

Innfinity expects the first-phase of the Innfinite distributed market infrastructure proof of concept to be completed by end of Quarter 3.
