Island Routes is “All In” on the journey and future with St. Lucia

Island Routes has contributed to the tours and excursions sector in St. Lucia. It started with just 16 tours in St. Lucia and now offers close to one hundred tours and counting, partnering with close to 30 St. Lucian tour operators.

MONTEGO BAY, JAMAICA – St. Lucia is celebrating its 40th year of Independence this year with the theme "All In: Our Journey, Our Future". It has been ten years since Caribbean’s adventure Tour Operator, Island Routes Caribbean Adventures, announced the launch of its operations in St. Lucia. The company has since then been providing thousands of tour experiences to visitors each year, bringing them up close to the best of the island.

Island Routes also works with non-profit organizations on the island, allowing guests to explore and learn, while giving back to local communities. Reading Road Trip is an 'edutainment' experience offered by Island Routes and the Sandals Foundation, focused on improving the reading, listening and comprehension skills of school children while exposing them to different cultures.

“Working with Island Routes has been an eye-opening experience. Ten years of a continuous inflow of tourists, begets them a force to be reckoned with”, says Kim Marius, Owner and CEO of Superior Tours Limited, and one of Island Routes’ longest standing certified tour partners. 

Superior Tours Limited is a St. Lucian business which facilitates and manages the guest experience of the Gros Islet Friday Night Street Party. This tour is offered by Island Routes and is a cultural experience that visitors are encouraged to attend. The famous Friday night event is held in the popular community of Gros Islet in St. Lucia where visitors get to enjoy an immersive experience of interacting with the Lucians while dancing and enjoying freshly-prepared local food and drinks.
