LEA expands fleet with UK’s only Charterable Phenom 300

The Phenom 300 is the most technologically advanced jet in its class and includes state-of-the-art avionics and brake-by-wire technology.

LONDON, ENGLAND – London Executive Aviation (LEA), one of Europe’s largest business jet charter operators, has expanded its fleet with the addition of its first Embraer Phenom 300.

The aircraft, tail number G-JAGA, can seat up to seven passengers and will be based at London Luton Airport. It is the only Phenom 300 currently available for charter in the UK and brings the total number of aircraft in the LEA fleet to 29.

The Phenom 300 is the most technologically advanced jet in its class and includes state-of-the-art avionics and brake-by-wire technology. With excellent runway performance, high cruise speed and a 1,971 nautical mile range, it is ideally suited to European business and leisure travel.

Patrick Margetson-Rushmore, chief executive, LEA says: “We are delighted to add our first Phenom 300 to the fleet and become the only operator to currently offer this aircraft for charter in the UK. The Phenom 300 has been widely lauded since entering the market in 2009 and it now adds further quality and diversity to our ever-expanding fleet.

“With its spacious, comfortable cabin and the largest baggage compartment in its class, we have no doubt that the Phenom 300 will be one of the most popular aircraft among our business and leisure clients.”

Captains Stefan Pedersen and Ian Austin flew the Phenom 300 on its delivery flight between Brazil and London. Pedersen says: “We flew the aircraft back over a three day period, routing via the Caribbean, the US and Keflavik. Thanks to the fast cruising speed and low cabin altitude, the Phenom 300 is one of the smoothest, most comfortable and best looking jets around.”
