MIA to welcome new international carriers InselAir Aruba and Boliviana de Aviacion

The two new airlines join Jetairfly and Qatar Airways as the latest additions to MIA’s growing roster of international carriers. Jetairfly begins Brussels service on April 4, and Qatar Airways launches direct service to Doha on June 10.

MIAMI – Miami International Airport is set to welcome two new international carriers in the coming months with the addition of scheduled service by InselAir Aruba and Boliviana de Aviacion (BoA).

InselAir Aruba has announced it will launch new scheduled passenger service between Oranjestad, Aruba and MIA on April 11 with four weekly roundtrip flights to the Caribbean nation on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays utilizing MD-80 aircraft. BoA, Bolivia’s national flag carrier, will commence scheduled passenger service between Santa Cruz and MIA on May 24 utilizing Boeing 737-300 aircraft. The new service to Bolivia’s most populous city and leading business center will operate four times weekly. Initially, the service will include a stop in Panama City, Panama on both inbound and outbound trips.

Gonzalez. “The addition of InselAir Aruba and BoA strengthens MIA’s growing international route network and reaffirms our standing as America’s unrivalled leader for service to Latin America and the Caribbean.”
