WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA – Pleasant Holidays announced the appointment of John Raiche as Business Development Manager (BDM) for the greater New York area. The newest BDM to join the tour operator’s nationwide sales team, Raiche is based in Albany, N.Y., and will represent Pleasant Holidays and its luxury travel brand, Journese?. Raiche’s focus will be to work with travel professionals in his region to develop strategies to grow their commission income for FIT, Wedding Travel and Groups package vacation bookings.

A graduate of Johnson & Wales University with concentrations in cruise line management and international hospitality, Raiche will also work to promote brand awareness for Pleasant Holidays and Journese. When not helping travel agents increase their sales, Raiche enjoys spending time traveling, experiencing different cultures and exploring the local attractions. A favorite experience was swimming with the pigs in the Exumas. Closer to home, Raiche enjoys spending his time on his motorcycle riding the winding roads of New England.
