Royal Jordanian code shares with TGV AIR to connect 19 French cities and Brussels to Paris-Charles de Gaulle

This TGV AIR railway service offers air passengers the opportunity to travel to TGV destinations based on a single, combined, TGV and RJ ticket, with a single fare and a single reservation at an attractive price.

AMMAN – Royal Jordanian signed a bimodal partnership agreement with SNCF’s (French National Railway Company) TGV AIR, whereby Royal Jordanian passengers benefit from a pre- and post-transportation service by TGV from Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport to 19 French, one Belgian cities: Aix en Provence TGV, Angers St Laud, Avignon TGV, Bordeaux St Jean, Champagne TGV, Le Mans, Lille, Lorraine TGV, Lyon, Marseille, Montpellier, Nantes, Nimes, Poitiers, Rennes, St Pierre Des Corps, Strasbourg, Toulon, Valence TGV as well as Brussels (in Belgium).

The code share agreement, which will come into effect on September 3, 2018, was signed on behalf of Royal Jordanian President/CEO Stefan Pichler by RJ’s France Area Manager Maher Alnaimat and for North TGV Axis by Director Tanguy Cotte-Martinon

This TGV AIR railway service offers air passengers the opportunity to travel to TGV destinations based on a single, combined, TGV and RJ ticket, with a single fare and a single reservation at an attractive price.

Passengers can book a train seat through all RJ sales channels and connect to many cities via SNCF's high-speed network. 

Royal Jordanian joins other 12 companies that already signed this code-share, bimodal agreement (air and rail).

RJ CEO Stefan Pichler said: "Our desire is to serve and expand our network and provide our customers with various services beyond air transport. We believe that the partnership with SNCF will enable our customers to reach several new destinations in France. This partnership demonstrates RJ's commitment to adopting the services TGV AIR offer as a major tool in its overall strategy, which aims to provide more travel options to its passengers."

Commercial Director of the North TGV Axis Remi Habfast said: "This new TGV AIR partnership with Royal Jordanian will offer high-speed train service from Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (Terminal 2D) to even more international passengers. SNCF is recognized worldwide for its high-speed trains, its reliability and quality of service. We are pleased, through this partnership, to give access to Royal Jordanian passengers."
