On May 25, 2019, S7 Airlines launched scheduled service from St. Petersburg to Irkutsk located close to famous Lake Baikal. The city pair had no direct air connection since 2012.

In the IATA Summer Season 2019, S7 Airlines expanded the route network with six new destinations from Pulkovo Airport, including Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca (Spain), Olbia (Italy), Anapa and Voronezh (Russia). In addition, starting June 1, 2019, the carrier will launch flights from St. Petersburg to Nice on the French Riviera.
With the new additions, the route network of S7 Airlines from Pulkovo in the IATA Summer Season 2019 includes 21 destinations: 13 domestic and 8 international.
In January-April 2019, S7 Airlines served 392 thousand passengers in St. Petersburg, which is 14% more than in the same period of 2018. In 2018, the carrier was one of the top three airlines for passenger traffic from Pulkovo Airport serving 1.4 million people in St. Petersburg.
