With the presence of Prince Sultan bin Salman, Governor of Riyadh the inauguration of "Saudi Travel and Tourism Investment Market Forum" where over 300 exhibitors will showcase their work, products and services during the biggest tourism-investment exhibition in KSA.
RIYADH, KSA: His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdul-Aziz, Governor of Riyadh region, Prime Tourist Development Council, sponsors the opening ceremony of Saudi Travel and Tourism Investment Market Forum 2014 on Sunday March 30th, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman, president of the General Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, Engineer Adel bin Mohammed Faqih, Labor Minister, and Eng. Abdullatif bin Ahmed Al-Othman Governor and Chairman of the Board of Directors of General Authority for Investment.
The Forum, which is organized by the General Commission for Tourism and Antiquities in cooperation with Heights Agency in Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre, includes seminar sessions, and more than 35 workshops, training courses and lectures, intended for professionals in the tourism sector, provided by 80 local and international experts and specialists, and address the most important issues related to the tourism industry.
The sessions include a variety of issues: the role of new transportation projects in stimulating the development of the tourism sector, the reality and the future of investment in the tourism sector, recreation and tourism, youth and tourism.
STTIM is in its seventh round which lasts for six days and incorporates a large number of workshops, including: safety in touristic accommodation facilities, hotels and furnished apartments insurance, hotels and furnished apartments subscription in the mail reservation systems and many more.
The Forum which will be held during the period from March 30 to April 4, 2014 accompanies this year, an exhibition which is the largest since the start of the forum six years ago, with a total area of 15 thousand square meters, increased 4 thousand square meters from the previous sessions.
The exhibition of the Forum, in which 300 specialized tourism, entertainment and aviation entities and 14 tourist destination are involved, showcases the most important large-scale projects in different regions of the Kingdom, among the wings of companies and local authorities and international organizations working in the tourism sector.
Boards of tourism development in the regions, also participate in the exhibition showing in their wings a large number of companies and parties, which their activities vary between accommodation sector, organizing trips or travel and tourism agencies.
Saudi Travel and Tourism Investment Market Forum 2014 includes Saudi Excellence Awards ceremony which will be held on Monday, announcing the most prominent and best companies and institutions working in the tourism sector in Saudi Arabia.
