SpringHill Suites & TownePlace Suites Hotels to open in Winter Garden, Florida

Flamingo Crossings Complex features two popular Marriott brands.

WINTER GARDEN, FLORIDA – Marriott International, Inc. announced that a 248-suite SpringHill Suites and 250-suite TownePlace Suites will open on Friday, February 12, 2016. Located in the Flamingo Crossings Development Complex at the Western Entrance to the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, the hotels are developed and owned by JL-FX Hotel Development, LLC of Anchorage, AK, and managed by Yedla Management Company through its affiliate Revolutionary Road Hospitality Group of Huntsville, AL and Orlando, FL. Each property will have 1,500 square-feet of meeting space and will share a 4,700 square-foot outdoor resort-style swimming pool, 1,700 square-foot state-of-the-art fitness center, Seattle’s BestO coffee bar, a full-service restaurant and pool bar. The hotels will also feature a picnic pavilion, batting cages and a sports practice field.

Located less than one mile from the Western entrance to Walt Disney World Resort and with easy access to Route 429, Interstate-4 and the Florida Turnpike, the hotels are nearby to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, Disney Springs formally Downtown Disney and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Featuring suites that are larger than typical hotel rooms, the SpringHill Suites Orlando at Flamingo Crossings/Western Entrance is ideal for business and leisure travelers looking for style and inspiration in their stay. Every aspect, from furniture and lighting to colors and fabrics, has been carefully selected to offer calm and refreshing spaces. Separate living, working and sleeping spaces also provide guests with flexibility and functionality. The suites feature a flat-screen television, complete with digital programming including Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, Crackle and Pandora. The hotel is a perfect place to sink into a good night’s sleep, offering luxurious linens and plush pillows, while a comfortable pullout sofa bed and lounge chair offer additional space for relaxation or extra family members.
