The Mere's Spa wins the Good Spa Guide's Award for Best Customer Service 2012.
The Good Spa Guide, which offers an independent comprehensive guide to UK spas, therapies and treatments, has announced The Mere’s spa & health club as winner of the national award for best customer service. The Mere Golf Resort & Spa was re-launched earlier in March 2012 following a £15 million investment and from the outset was committed to delivering excellent customer service. This award is a great testament to all the hard work and commitment that the Mere team has made to make this one of the country’s leading spas.
The state-of-the-art spa & health club offers the best in facilities, treatments and therapists. It received the ‘5 Bubbles’ rating from the Good Spa Guide earlier this year, which is rated against a list of strict criteria alongside all the spas in the UK, which includes customer care, cleanliness, quality of treatments, and value for money. The ‘5 Bubbles’ rating is the highest score possible.

This starts with an investment in staff and therapist training to ensuring we’re offering the best treatments and products on the market. Set in its own dedicated building and occupying the old stable block and courtyard, The Mere’s Spa & Health Club offers innovative mind and body programmes, cutting-edge equipment, expert personal trainers and group exercise programmes. The spa boasts a 20m indoor swimming pool located next to a selection of rest and recuperation facilities including a relaxation terrace. Adjacent to the pool is the ‘thermal zone’ which contains a Hamam room, sauna, salt room, steam room and a caldarium (a typical Roman hot room to help members relax after a workout or spa treatment). There are seven bespoke treatment rooms serviced by eight fully trained, professional therapists.
The Spa at The Mere offers an extensive range of treatments, from the latest ‘non surgical facelift facials’ from CARITA Paris, to traditionally inspired treatments such as the Rasul Thermal Mud Heaven based on traditional Arabian Rasul therapy.
