CHICAGO, IL – Travel Mindset will change the way that travelers choose their next great vacation. The site offers intelligent travel writing that truly inspires. “Online travel has been dumbed down so much that all you really see is ‘Top 10’ this or ‘Best of’ that, so much so, that there is little available to allow users to really dive into and understand what an authentic travel experience can offer,” explained Harley Schachter, co-founder of Travel Mindset. “I wanted to address that gap in the online travel space, as I think there is a desire for depth and substance of content beyond the 30 second piece.”
On Travel Mindset, it’s all about the experience. Users are immersed in destinations with content that delves deep and takes them where guidebooks don’t go. Like a well traveled friend, Travel Mindset encourages users to want more from their vacation days, and make every trip top their last.
Browsing by theme, users are opened to off the tourist track experiences that they could do too. There are multiple permanent themes, and new themes flow through the site so that there is always something new to explore.
Aside from browsing professionally created content, users are encouraged to upload their own travel stories to the site, allowing them to share their stories across social media platforms, and be chosen to be featured on the site. The best submissions will be eligible to win prizes, and could see users accompanying Travel Mindset writers on trips to participate in content creation. Users can also ‘favorite’ activities they love, creating their ultimate inspiration page.
