What is WhereIsWhere.com? Global tourism marketing platform launched

The industry can create a click-through link to their OWN website, with no fees or commissions payable. Travellers are directed to the end-sale point on the company’s own website. This also allows for data capture, and a direct sales and marketing distribution model.

SINGAPORE – A comprehensive interactive marketing platform has been launched, that allows the travel industry to cohesively upload all forms of content to the end user, via a clickable world map. In less than 6 minutes, tourism boards, hotels, attractions, shopping malls or designer boutiques and F&B outlets can create their pins by signing up on the free platform.

Appropriately named WhereIsWhere.com, the new global marketing tool is currently free for the tourism industry to register, as it is populating its global hot-spots prior to the consumer launch slated for mid-year 2016. The map connects travellers to everyone in the travel industry: hotels (chains and independents), attractions, places to dine, drink and party – all displayed on an interactive map showing proximity and updated content.

But, most importantly – the industry can create a click-through link to their OWN website, with no fees or commissions payable. Travellers are directed to the end-sale point on the company’s own website. This also allows for data capture, and a direct sales and marketing distribution model.

“Today in Travel, we do not have a consolidated platform that represents, showcases and markets the entire industry in a way that travellers can easily understand. We believe our new platform will transform how the industry engages travellers,” says CEO of WhereIsWhere.com, Terence Mak.

“WhereIsWhere.com is different from other ordinary platforms which only show information with text or images, it combines multimedia with geo-technicality, thus making it easier and more friendly to find attractions or accommodation needed” said Bridget Sun, Platforms Manager of Melia Hotels International, Asia-Pacific.
