WTM Africa’s prestigious 2015 Hosted Buyer Programme offers a world of opportunities

WTM Africa 2015 is just around the corner and with a remarkable events programme in store, Africa’s leading business-to-business inbound and outbound travel exhibition is a must-attend event for all travel industry professionals. Taking place in the beautiful city of Cape Town between 15 and 17 April 2015 at the CTICC, WTM Africa 2015 promises to deliver unlimited networking opportunities, strengthen existing industry relationships and help close business deals.

Adding to WTM Africa’s already impressive 2015 line-up is the prestigious Hosted Buyer Programme. This programme offers carefully selected travel industry buyers the opportunity to directly engage with WTM Africa exhibitors. “WTM Africa in Cape Town gives me a superb opportunity to meet with tour operators as well as hotel and lodge owners I would not otherwise know of, or be able to meet with outside of the WTM forum,” says Pia Severin Valentine, Sales & Product Manager at Trekking Bureauet, Denmark.

Hosted Buyer, Victoria Boughton, who is the Senior Product Manager (Wildlife & Polar) for Exodus Travels, UK says, “I’m attending WTM Africa to network with existing and new suppliers. My key objective is to strengthen relationships with existing Exodus suppliers and to connect with new suppliers with the intention of researching and developing new ideas for the Exodus ‘Wildlife Encounters’ programme.”

Each Hosted Buyer must meet strict qualifying criteria and will be reviewed against their potential for future international business, past/future business in Africa, responsibility for contracting, as well as purchasing authority and management of the annual budget. Hosted Buyer Manager – Paulina Lund says, “We are delighted with the interest so far and we’re happy to report that we have already confirmed top quality buyers from 21 different countries.”

WTM Africa forms part of Africa Travel Week which comprises of three co-located industry events namely International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) Africa, International Business Travel Market (IBTM) and WTM Africa.
